Groomer

We are looking for an experienced Groomer to join our pet care team. Our ideal candidate is an animal lover who has some prior training or experience. You must be comfortable bathing dogs of various breeds and sizes, as well as cats. In addition to bathing, your grooming duties will include nail clipping and ear-cleaning services. We expect candidates for this position to have the trimming and shearing skills necessary to fulfill client expectations. As a Groomer, you should have a passion for helping our animal friends look their best.

Groomer Duties and Responsibilities

  • Bathe and dry pets, including dogs and cats

  • Trim or shear animal coats according to owner specifications

  • Clip or file pet’s nails as necessary

  • Perform ear-cleaning services as necessary

Groomer Requirements and Qualifications

  • Prior grooming experience through an internship or apprenticeship is preferred

  • Hand shearing and scissoring skills

  • Comfort working with various breeds of dogs and cats

  • Ability to work with dogs that weigh over 60 lbs.

  • Communication skills

  • Patience

Licensed Veterinary Technician

We are searching for a motivated, confident, task-oriented Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team! Our LVTs are responsible for aiding the veterinarians in providing top-notch veterinary care to our furry community. By joining our practice you will be working as a team of 3 LVTs all with unique interests and skill sets. Your responsibilities include hospitalized patient care, anesthesia/surgical prep, dentistry, laboratory work, inventory management, time management, client education, client communication and much more! We pride ourselves as having strong community ties and team approach to providing the best medical care for our patients. All applicants must have a strong work ethic, be professional, team oriented and positive. The applicant must be a Licensed Veterinary Technician. New grads are considered. We offer full benefits and pay is determined based on experience.
