COVID-19 Updates

COVID-19 Update 8/24/2021

Effective immediately! We have been watching the covid-19 numbers for our area and have decided it is in the best interest of our clients and staff to return to curbside for an undetermined length of time. This will all be determined by the numbers in our area. We are understanding that even those that are fully vaccinated are getting infected and transmitting the Delta variant. We apologize for any inconvenience and will do our best to make each appointment run smoothly for you and your pet. Thank you for your cooperation!

Covid-19 Update 9/9/2020

Thank you to all our clients for your continued patience during these uncertain times! We will continue with our 100% curbside veterinary service until further notice (see the March update below for more information).  During inclement weather at this time you may be asked to pull to the side of the building to discuss your pet's appointments under our canopy. If you have any questions or concerns about this at the time of your appointment please let the receptionist know when you check in.

We look forward to returning to our normal operation as soon as possible and miss seeing all of our clients in the building!

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update 3/17/2020

The continued health and safety of our clients, patients, staff and community is of the utmost importance to us. As of Friday March 20, 2020, we will be a 100% curbside veterinary service. All clients (appointments, drop-offs, surgery, boarding and grooming pets) are asked to stay in their vehicles and call from the parking lot when you arrive, a staff member will then be out shortly to get your pet’s history and bring your pet into the building. All exams/services will be performed inside the building, as pet parents wait in their cars. If you need to discuss the appointment with the doctor, we will do so over the phone. All food and medication pick-ups, please call and we will bring them out to you. Any payments for services will be collected over the phone. Boarding patients, please limit all personal belongings, only bring food and medications. Grooming patients, please pull your car to the side door and call to let the grooming staff know you have arrived. They will come out to your car to get your pet.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 804-642-5740.

Our previous policy changes will remain in effect until this Friday when the new changes are implemented. As the situation progresses, we will notify you as quickly as possible with new information/new policy changes.

While these situations are not ideal, we want to be able to best serve you for as long as possible. We understand the inconvenience and we look forward to getting back to normal operations as soon as possible!

Covid-19 Update!

The health and safety of our clients, patients and staff is of utmost importance to us. Starting Monday March 16th, 2020, we will be implementing the following precautions in everyone’s best interest.

  • If you are in self quarantine, have traveled in the past 10 days to high risk areas or have tested positive for COVID-19, we are offering telemedicine appointments for your pet. Please call for details.

  • If you have flu/cold symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath), please reschedule your appointment. If your pet needs immediate care, please call to discuss drop off options. If you have no one else who can drop your pet off, please call ahead to give us the history and remain in your vehicle. Call us when you arrive, and we will come get your pet to examine. Do NOT enter the clinic!

  • If you are from a high-risk group being immunocompromised and/or over the age of 60, please consider calling to discuss drop off options. We will discuss your pets needs over the phone and bring your pet into and out of the clinic to your vehicle to limit your exposure.

  • If you are from a high-risk group being immunocompromised and/or over the age of 60, please consider “driving through” for picking up medication and supplies. Call us when you reach the clinic and we will perform the transaction and bring you what you need to your vehicle.

These new measures will be in place until further notice. COVID-19 is an unprecedented situation for us all. As the situation progresses, we will notify you as quickly as possible with new information/new policy changes.
